Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 20 October 2026
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to everything on a Receipt page: links, blocks, text, images and video, custom CSS, email sign-up forms, and the destinations your links point to. It is part of our Terms of Service.
2. Eligibility and account integrity
You must be at least 18 years old to use Receipt as a creator. Do not impersonate any person, brand or organisation, and do not use someone else's account.
3. 18+ links and age self-declaration
If a link leads to content only for adults, put an 18+ lock on it. Visitors then confirm they are 18 or over before it opens. This is a self-declaration, not age verification: it does not make an unlawful link lawful and it does not move responsibility for the destination away from you. Receipt switches the lock on by default for a new link to a known adult platform; do not remove it from such a link.
You may link to adult content only where the content and the place it is hosted are lawful where you and your visitors are, everyone shown in it is a consenting adult, and the link carries the 18+ lock. A link to anything listed in Section 4 is never allowed.
4. Hard prohibitions
Do not publish, or link to:
- child sexual abuse material, or anything sexualising minors;
- intimate images shared without the consent of everyone shown, including AI-generated likenesses;
- terrorist or violent extremist content;
- malware, phishing, scams, or pages that pretend to be a sign-in or payment page;
- content that infringes someone else's rights;
- hate speech or harassment, or someone's private information without their consent;
- anything else unlawful where you or your visitors are.
5. Honest numbers
Receipt's figures are only useful if they are real. Do not create fake clicks, fake sales or fake traffic, tamper with click ids, or try to inflate or distort anyone's figures, including your own. Sales you add by hand are always labelled manual, and affiliate reports you upload are shown as Reported; never present either as tracked.
6. Custom CSS and page design
Custom CSS is included on some plans (see our pricing page). We filter it before it is shown: only rules for your page's own rcpt-pp- elements are kept, external resources, imports and scripts are removed, and it is capped at 8 KB. Within those limits, do not use CSS or design to:
- hide, cover or imitate the page footer, including its Privacy, Terms and Report links;
- hide or get around the 18+ confirmation;
- disguise where a link goes, or make one link look like another;
- make your page look like Receipt's, Folo's, Fanogram's or anyone else's sign-in, checkout or interface.
7. Email sign-ups
Collect sign-ups only through the form and consent box Receipt shows. Do not add people who did not sign up, do not buy or import lists into it, honour every unsubscribe, and do not send spam. You are the controller of your list and responsible for how you use it.
8. Reporting
Every creator page has a Report link in its footer. It opens our contact form with the page filled in. Copyright complaints follow our Copyright & DMCA Policy.
9. Enforcement
If something breaks this policy we may remove a block, disable a link or custom CSS, hide a page, or suspend or close an account, depending on how serious it is. Where the law requires, we report illegal content to the authorities.
10. Contact
